Institute Working Group set up (October 2010)

Following the High Court Order allowing the BADT an additional 18 months to develop its proposals for the Literary and Scientific Institute, the Trust has established a working group to progress the project.  The working group includes trustees Charles Wild and Diane May, Arts and Heritage consultant Crystal Johnson, Bridport Museum trustees Sandra Brown and Ron Gregory and Museum Curator Emily Hicks, Amanda Streatfeild, Chair of the Local Food Group, and Professor Andrew Rutherford, proprietor of Wild and Homeless Books, who also generously hosts most of the working group’s meetings at his booikshop.  Crystal Johnson has been appointed by the Trust to co-ordinate the work to prepare a Heritage Lottery funding bid.
