MP praises work of Trusts (January 2012)

In his column in the Bridport and Lyme Regis News, Oliver Letwin, MP, Minsiter of State at the Cabinet Office, wrote in January 2012,

Hard times, as they say, are good times to be building a brighter future.  And right here in West Dorset we have plenty of examples of just this sort of thing going on.  Watching the activities of the Lyme Regis Development Trust over the last few years, I have become an enormous admirer of the whole idea of development trusts.  It is very good news that a development trust has recently been established in Bridport.  And it’s even better news that the Bridport Development Trust is now hard at work putting together a really serious plan for the revival of the Bridport Literary and Scientific Institute.
